Jayathi is 40 Km from Vizianagaram Town. These temples are said to built around 9th century. The architecture of this temples are similar to Srimukahalingam in Srikakulam District.
During mughal era this temple got demolished and later it got reconstructed. In past many saints used to live in near by Mountains. As per locals Sivalingam in this temple is increasing it's size from several decades.
