Sri Uma Rudra Koteswara Swamy Temple is in gudiveedhi (temple street) of Srikakulam Town near to Seven Road Junction.
It is one of the panchalinga kshetras consecrate by Lord Balarama around Srikakulam District when he's in search of a peaceful place for meditation during Mahabharata war.
This South Indian style Temple built with Red stone from Saalihundam, it is originally said to be built 5000 yrs ago, recent modifications was done in 1774.
The River Nagavali beside this Temple is said to be dug by Lord Balarama with his nagali hence It's called as Nagavali River.
